Suggest Treatment For Frequent Constipation

I am 16. I frequently get constipated. Currently I have been constipated for about 5 days, even though I taken laxatives and had fibre. I feel quite sick and when I wake up, I have horrible pains. Yesterday I did a TINY bit and it was sloppy and a kind of orange colour.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Laxatives should not be used too often because frequent use is actually a cause of eventual constipation.
The bowel stops working well on its own.

Increasing fiber and fluids is the main treatment.
This means using at least 8 full glasses of fluid daily not including caffeine liquids because they cause increase urination and therefore fluid loss.

Increasing fiber means that fruits or vegetables should be used with each meal and snack.
Whole grain foods are also encouraged. Adding a fiber supplement which you would use at least 2 times a day may also be needed.

I hope this helps
