Suggest Treatment For Fluid In Pouch Of Douglas On Ultrasound

khristin cunanan 35years old with 1 daughter. I am experiencing right pain on my lower abdomen i did some test yesterday and ultrasound findings are as follows: mild fluid in douglas pouch and i have an enlargement of my right ovary.how dangerous it is?is it curable?please advised. Thank you.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pain in lower abdomen, slightly enlarged ovaries and fluid in the pouch of Douglas is present in pelvic infection.
This is the infection of the genital tract and can be treated by appropriate antibiotics.
