Suggest Treatment For Fluid-filled Blister On Foot

I have a fluid-filled blister that has been growing in size for a week on the top of my left foot. There is also another smaller blister next to it that just developed today. It is very painful and surrounded by pink color. It is about 1/2 inch in diameter. Should I seek treatment for it?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fluid-filled blister on foot. Well shoes that don't fit properly because they're too large or too small are the main cause of blisters on the feet. If you're doing a lot of walking, rubbing and friction are inevitable even while wearing the best shoes . I would suggest you to no to wear shoe for few days , keep your foot in hot water tub for 15 minutes daily and apply over the counter antibiotics cream . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti allergic depending upon the diagnosis along with anti inflammatory and corticosteroid ointments .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
