Suggest Treatment For Fever With Rashes In A Child

My 14 month old grandson had a slight fever, very irritable, then a few days later developed a light rash on his face. No fever. Still very cranky, unlike him. Last night my daughter in law noticed slight bruising along his spine. She rushed him to his doctor who said he may have had a viral infection, which is clearing. Not sure if I like this answer. I am a wreck and so is she and my son. Any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thank for your query.
Read and understood your concerns.
Noted your history of fever and rash in your grandson.
This happens in viral fever and called as viral exenthema and will clear on its own. Your pediatrician will confirm this and also decide whether this is any reaction to anything.
I find this answer helpful
