Suggest Treatment For Fever In Toddler

My 32 months years old toddler have a fever since last night of 38-38.3C taken from the armpit. He did not eat well yseterday but otherwise seemed fine. He then woke up 7 times last night crying and was very hot but refused water or cold fannel to the head. should I take him to a doctor?

Hello. Thank you for your question. Fever and irritability are very common symptoms in this AGR group. Unfortunately, they are also very nonspecific. This could be anything from a harmless virus yo a bacterial infection. I recommend consulting with your doctor so the correct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
