Suggest Treatment For Fever Blister With Pain And Red Eyes

I was watching the show The Doctors , two weeks ago. The topic was HSVI. Fever blister. Back in August I had an awful feverblister. A few days later I had a very red eye. Like pink eye. The pain was awful. I want to know if it s true you can spread HSV to you eye. And are there known treatments.

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
HSV infection can affect the eye also..
But in your case not so sure whether that was HSV or viral infection other than HSV..
HSV causes red eye with irritation and if it affects the cornea ie., the black portion of the eye ther will be lot of pain, watering, blurring of vision, photophobia etc.,
There is treatment for HSV keratitis but recovery takes longer time leaving a scar over the cornea..
Hope this information is helpful to you..
Take care..

Regards..
