Suggest Treatment For Fever And Vomiting In Kid

my healthy 7 year old had what i presume to be norovirus, vomiting for 9 hrs followed by low-grade fever, decreased appetite. Now he has a sore throat with white patches. his throat is not bright red, just the patches. It hurts to swallow. this is not normally a symptom of norovirus from my experience (my boys get this 24 hr tummy bug every spring!), does he now have a secondary infection going on?
