Suggest Treatment For Fever And Severe Cough

My husband started chilling a short time ago, has a temperature of 101.3, a headache. BP is 129/71 and pulse 81. He s had a cough for a few days, but not severe. He takes baby aspirin for blood thinner. Our local clinic is now closed and it doesn t seem like an ER need.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here your work up needed as follow....
-CBC with PS examination
-Auscultation
-Chest x ray only if needed after Auscultation
-ASO titre

If CBC shows neutrophilia than antibiotic prescribed
If lymphocytosis than Symptomatic management done
If eosinophila than fexofenedine prescribed

Take vitamin C lozenges three times a day

If congestion present than levocetrizine like decongestant prescribed

Take care

Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind....
