Suggest Treatment For Fever And Headache During Pregnancy
Hello sir, I am 4 months preganent and suffering from fever and headache since 3 days and my doctor advised me ESR test and its result is 80mm.. now i want to know is what happens if esr level is increased by 80 in place of 0-20 in a preganent lady. is there any problem?

ESR is a nonspecific investigation and it high value indicates infection somewhere in the body. You can take Paracetamol tablets and antibiotics like Amoxicillin empirically. Nothing to worry as both Paracetamol and Amoxicillin are very safe in pregnancy. Do urine routine also as urinary tract infection is quite common in pregnancy.
