Suggest Treatment For Febrile Seizure In A 2 Year Old Child

I think my 25-month-old just had a febrile seizure. It was the first time. Her last temperature before the seizure was 103.5 degree. After the seizure, we took off all the clothing and her temperature dropped a little bit. And then we gave her tylenol, and she is sleeping now. Should I go to ER immediately?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, yes you should report to er in case of seizure because unless some tests like CSF examination and CT scan is not done, its difficult to make diagnosis of febrile seizures. It could be other type of seizure. Take care.
