Hi.. I ve been diagnosed with cellulitis. Been giving a shot of antibiotics. Then take another antibiotic 4 times a day and another 2 a day. Its been three days I can walk a little now but is still throbbing and painful after about twenty minutes. The redness is starting to turn a purplish color now. I have no energy and want to sleep alot and dizzeness. Is this all normal with this disease. Thank you....

Infections put hormones that break down muscle to mobilize raw materials and inflammatory mediators that work directly on the brain to make one sleepy. Also some nutrients like iron are locked up.
Steroids work on all aspects of this. Aspirin like drugs do not work on the brain chemicals. Rest and fluids push out the mediators thru the kidneys, eventually BUT 1) the infection has to be gone for the mediators not to be continually made and 2) it takes time for them to be flushed out. At 2 days I don't think you can get rid of them.
