Suggest Treatment For Extreme Fatigue While Taking Cymbalta

I have noticed that I am extremely fatigued during the day at work. I started taking Cymbalta about 2 months ago, but also was taking Adderall, so I didn t have this problem. I have been off the Adderall for about 1-2 weeks and since then is when I started noticing being more fatigued. Any suggestions? Should I start taking my Cymbalta at night? I do not sleep well at night either.

Adderall is a fairly powerful stimulant medication, so I would suspect that the feelings of fatigue you are having are due to stopping this medication. Fatigue is also a fairly common side effect of Cymbalta, so I would suggest waiting at least a few more weeks for your body to adjust to being off the Adderall, and if you are still having significant fatigue then, you may need to see a doctor to evaluate you for what may be causing it, which Cymbalta would be one possibility. Not being able to sleep may also cause fatigue, so you may have several factors playing into it.
