Suggest Treatment For Extreme Fatigue , Chills , Dizziness And Abdominal Cramps

I had mono 20 yrs ago. I am now 61. I had Rheumatic fever as a child and have always tired easily. Within the past year, I have had several bouts of chill, fever, extreme fatigue, dizziness, abdominal cramping. Each episode would leave me without energy, extremely tired. I have just had complete bloodwork which stated testing shows that I have had a past infection with mono. I might also have a reactivated infection, but liver tests and other blood tests do not seem to confirm a reactivated infection. Suggestion is to treat this as mono for now. What does this mean for now , and is this contagious?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of Mono 20 years ago, now you are 61 years old, had rheumatic fever as a child, several bouts of chills, extreme fatigue, fever, dizziness and cramps in abdomen leaving you tired. The tests do not show re-activation of Mono.
I would like to advise you the following since you must have through lots of blood tests and so on.
Blood culture and sensitivity can help you to get a proper diagnosis.
You need an interactive and multidisciplinary consultation of a battery of Specialists who can come together and discuss your case as this is complicated now.
You can definitely get started on proper antibiotics and so on.
Also needed is to rule out the autoimmune status as the immunity looks weak causing you all such problems.
