Suggest Treatment For Exercise-induced Nausea

about 2-3 minutes after slight exertion I have nausea which lasts the rest of the day and gets worse with further exertion. I recently went to the ER with vaso vagal near syncope with severe bradycardia which I ve had for over 20 years. But the nausea is getting unbearable and I m quite nervous about it. My hands feel cold and I feel fatigued. No shortness of breath or chest pain and regular heart rate of around 80. I m 49 and awaiting to see a cardiologist.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

During exercise, up to 80% blood supply of abdomen is reduced, as the major part is diverted to muscle and skin. Due to less supply of blood to abdominal organs, there is a feeling of nausea as well as episodes of vomiting. Eating too soon after exercise may also make you nauseous and even result into vomiting. Also, exerting too much during exercise, can make you dehydrated, hence, a feeling of fatigue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
