Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband and i havent ever had intercourse and we are married since over 6 months. After reading online i have a feeling he has Traumatic masterbatory syndrome. However, we had shown a urologist and he didnot suggest anything other than shyness. My husband gets an erection when he rubs his penis against my legs and doesnt remove his pants. When he removes his pants and tries to penetrate, the penis falls down. Can you please advise?
Dear service user, Thank you for writing to Healthcaremagic. I got your question and understand your concern about erectile dysfunction in your partner. If your husband can achieve and maintain good quality of erection during masturbation (as you said) but looses soon before vaginal containment. This happens to newly married couples when one engages in sexual intercourse. It is likely to be performance anxiety. I recommend to consult a psychiatrist for this. There are effective behavior therapies and counseling techniques which can prove useful to both of you. This will help him to come out of anxiety. Warm regards and wish you good health.
