sir, am 37 year old. I have been having issues with ejaculation and with erection during sex. sometimes I get erection but i can t ejaculate. both are embarrasing to me. Erection problem: Many times I can t get erection without having lot of stimulation by the partner. finally if i get erection, then my penis doesn t stay hard throughout sex.. what s the exact cause for this? is it due to hardening of arteries in penis? though i can overcome the erection problem by taking ginger/garlic. then i get strong and long lasting erection. but then i wouldn t be able to ejaculate.. Ejaculation problem: There s no ejaculation problem if i have sex once in a week. The moment i start having daily, it happens.. When i masturbate, am able to ejaculate.. Though the semen quantity is very small amount, when i masturbate twice a day. but when i have sex, am finding it very difficult to ejaculate.. my partner has to work very hard to make me ejaculate. sometimes when she tries to help me ejaculate by hand job, that takes long time. this creates a lot of tension in my mind during sex. i had orchitis about 10 years ago.. could it have affected the functioning of testes? my nocturnal emissions happen rarely since last 2 years.. i don t have diabetes, thyroid or any other issue. but my testosterone seems to be on lower side (313 ng/dl). i also had low back problem (disc bulge) some time back though now a days i don t get low back pain. could any of that be the cause for this? but when i masturbate myself, i can ejaculate .. it s pretty embarrasing when i can t ejaculate without lot of strain during sex.. could you please let me know what could be the possible medical cause for these problems and i would like to get any tests done to find out the root cause and get it treated? please help.
