These causes can either be within the brain or coming from other diseases. A doctor would need to assess your son thoroughly and may be ask for some tests like full blood count, cerebrospinal fluid analysis, serum electrolyte panel, EEG, Scanner, etc. Certain conditions that could be at the origin of these seizures can be treated once and for all.
