Suggest Treatment For Ectopic Heartbeats

Hello I have an ectopic heart beat, I have seen a specialist Bach in march and had a 24hr monitor which they said showed my heart was fine but there was a extra heart beat this was quiet a lot, this is getting worse I get it every day all day and it does it about every third beat, it also sometimes wakes me up in the night I am really worried about this, my gp says it could be stress but I don t feel stressed at the minute, any suggestions would be really appreciated as I m at my wits end Thank you Lisa

wellcome to hcm,
yes premature atrial and ventricular beat can be a problem, but most of the times the extra beats can occur due to stress and its benign in origin,
but if its severe and really leading to heart failure, to rule out heart failure you should undergo cardiac echo that will let you know whether your heart is under heart failure. then it will be helpful for you whether to take medicines or to undergo ablation.
I find this answer helpful
