Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

I have been having trouble with my ears for the past few months. They are continually filling up with wax and then becoming dry crusty wax. Now I have pain in my left ear to the point where sleeping on that side is painful. I had my ears irrigated by the dr last time but now with the pain, and it being the same ear. I am concerned. When do I need to go see a doctor?

HI.
You need to see your Doctor ASAP to ascertain whether you are suffering from the wax or a fungus as the treatment will depend from the diagnosis on clinical actual examination.
It looks in your case you have tried to remove this from the ear causing an injury to the External ear canal. This is most sensitive as the skin is attached to to the the underlying bone directly.
Get an appropriate antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal treatment.
Sleeping on the same side can cause the pain as there is a swelling on the outside too.
