Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

hi i had been to a waterpark a few days ago and from the time i got out of water, my ear felt blocked due to the water. i tried to shake my head and used cotton ear buds to remove the excess water. My ear has started to ache since then and I don t know what to do. Please help

Thanks for posting your query in HCM.
As you know all of us have little amount of ear wax, water would swell the ear wax. Had there been no ear wax, the water would dry up by next day. Since there is probability of wax being in the ear, please do not use any ear bud.
Please consult an ENT specialist, he would examine with otoscope and remove the ear wax if required. If you ignore and wait for few more days, there is chance of development of ear fungus.
The pain is due to manipulation done with ear bud and also due to swelling up of wax.
