Suggest Treatment For Dry Mouth, nausea And Burning Pain In My Stomach

I have been feeling very tired lately, accompanied by a dry mouth, nausea and a burning pain in my stomach. Occasionally I feel dizzy and I rarely have the energy to get out of bed without forcing myself out. I feel like I m falling apart... can you help!?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I would advise you to drink plenty of water and consume frequent light meals every 3 to 4 hrs. You can take antacids or anti-acid medicine like Ranitidine for stomach burning. Also, I would advise you to get your thyroid levels (T3,T4 and TSH) tested to rule out hypothyroidism. In addition to the above, you need to check if there is some reason for stress.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
