Hello Doctor, I was operated for Cervical disc Hernia just one month ago. I am thalassemia minor, my BP usually remains low like 90/60. Recently I am very stressed, and I am having total black outs when ever I get up from lying position, I have to hold on to something to protect my self from falling. I had it once or twice earlier but now it s like 5-6 times a day. What should I do?

Suggest Treatment For Dizzy Spells
Hello I have read your query and understand your concerns. I think you are having orthostatic hypotension. Otherwise also, your BP is low. When you get up from bed, donot stand up right away. Just keep sitting for two minutes before standing from bed. This will decrease your dizziness. Also eat healthy foods. Drink plenty of water. Increase salt content in your diet. Hope this helps. Thanks.
