Suggest Treatment For Dizziness Caused After Losing Blood

I need help ASAP. My friend has cut her wrist and lost a lot of blood. She says she s dizzy. I am not with her but I m texting her. I told her to get a rag and wet if with warm water and to apply lists of pressure to the cuts and I told her to lay down in the process. She seems like she is going to pass out. What do I do to help? What can help her stay awake? And what can stop the bleeding?

Hello,

your friend needs immediate medical attention. Sometimes faintness may be caused by looking at a bleeding site. Although this is most probably her case I can't exclude the possibility of a really deep cut that has hurt a big vein or artery causing significant blood loss.
Applying constant pressure on the bleeding site will either stop or reduce blood loss. Lying down might help her feel better.
She should get help though because if she passes out she would not be able to apply pressure and the blood loss might be continued.
I hope I've helped!
If you'd like more information, please let me know. I'll be glad to answer.

Kind Regards!
