Suggest Treatment For Discoloration And Rashes On Face Caused After Laser Treatment

Hi, I have done the laser hair removal treatment on my face for 1 year. On my 8th treatment my skin color started to change and at some area on my face I got the lighter skin. Also, some rashes happen at my side face. I am just wondering what can I do for this discoloration? Thank you, Nastaran

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Lase is unlikely to affect the skin since lasers used nowadays are quite safe.

I suggest you consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment of hypo-pigmented rash.
The hypopigmentation is likely to be due to pigment disorder.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
