Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Swallowing And Hoarseness Of Voice

Good Evening, my 91 year old mother had difficulty swallowing a pill last night. She felt it was stuck and then it suddenly popped out onto the table. No difficulty breathing but she is having difficulty swallowing food/fluids and her voice sounds hoarse. I found out about this after most physician offices were closed. I told her that she may have scratched her throat and that she should drink cool fluids to get any swelling down, gargle with salt water and eat just soft foods for a day or two and that if symptoms continued tomorrow we d get her checked. Should I take her to ER or does this plan sound ok
