Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Lifting Up Legs

I think I have a hip flexor strain, its hard to lift my leg into a car, first thing in the morning its hard to bend my leg up to get dressed, hard to sit down on a chair, whenever I bend the leg upward, after 20 minutes its better like stretched out, so i can work and walk. but if I sit down at night it stiffens again. how do I fix this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

We do advise to:
- apply anti-inflammatory cream locally
- do massage with essential oils
- ibuprofen or paracetamol can ease the pain.

If still no improvement, proceed with orthopedic doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
