Hi, ive had diarreah for the last four days. Tonight my heart rate wont seem to slow down. I also ended up having a panic attack. However even after taking a diazepam my heart rate still feels fast . I have been woken tgree times with diarreah and a fast heart rate. Is this normal with diarreah? Thank you. Kind regards jane

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is not being stated the heart rate here but what the condition you have of diarrhea that may not cause increased the heart rate, and if it is being suspected then you will have to see the cardiologist, but it does not seems to be any cardiac disease in your case but the increased heart rate could be due to over consciousness, you have not given any detail about the age and gender else something better could be advised, your further detail query will be appreciated hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
