Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea, Vomiting And Painful Ribs

I think I have food poisoning but am not sure. I was fine last night and early this morning my body started hurting. I had diarrhea but now all that s coming out is clear and yellow liquid. I have also been puking up water. I know I m dehydrated because I can t keep anything down. My ribs feel like they re bruised. My lower back is tense. And I have a bad pain on my right side, upper abdominal, by the rib cage. No fever. Extremely dizzy and light headed. Stomach aches and pains on the upper middle section. Do I need to be seen?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a food poisoning. I recommend to drink small amount of liquids frequently. I also suggest to take probiotics. You can use an anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. If the symptoms continue, you should go at the emergency room for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
