Does Continuous Nausea Cause Stomach And Chest Pain?

Hi! Tuesday night i began having forceful vomiting and diarrhea. The vomiting lasted several hours and then turned into a couple of hours of dry heaves. The vomiting a diarrhea have stopped, but now have rib, stomach and chest pain (sternum). Is the pain just from the forceful vomiting and heaving, and will go away without treatment?
