Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Weakness

I got up the other night and was very sick. I had diarrhea, while in the bathroom. I lost all feeling in both my arms. I was so hot. I felt like I was going to pass out. I was so weak. This lasted for some time. I am still weak in my legs. The feeling did come back in my arms in about 10-15 minutes.

Sudden onset Diarrhoea has many causes, infections most of the times. The weakness that you have may be due to the loss of fluid and electrolytes due to diarrhoea.

Please don't panic. I suggest you to go to ER immediately. If it is due to electrolyte loss, you should become alright with i.v fluids and antibiotics.

If there is a delay in going to the hospital, please get a sachet of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS-one litre sachet) from the nearby pharmacy, mix it with one litre of clean water and drink it orally, at the dose of 200 ml for every bowel movement. Take it sip by sip, not in gulps. Take plenty of water/tender coconut as well.
