Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Nausea
Have stomach pain, nausea, some throw-up. Doc 3 days ago said white blood cell count up and put me on antibiotics Keflex 500mg twice a day for 7 days. I have diahrrea some now and continued nausea. Developed cdif after appendix removal followed by staph in one of the incisions last year. Keflex known to create higher chance of cdif return. Been on antibiotics 2.5 days so far. Should I continue the antibiotic being it prescribed for UTI where urine came back negative since now I have some diarrhea. Would the antibiotic delay the healing if indeed I have stomach flu and long does stomach flu last?

If urine comes as a negative, you may drop those antibiotics [usually taken for less than 7 days]. Antibiotic have to be taken for staph if it is diagnosed. Usually, viral flu lasts less than a week. Moreover, lifestyle, stress and anxiety are causes of your history. Once, do online OMBW 'Art of Living' course. It will prevent these from happening in the future. Also, it will give relief in the present scenario [more psychological]; continue prescribed medicines.
