Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the eyes symptoms can be a separate entity than diarrhea and can be due to conjunctivitis. It's better to get ophthalmologist review if tobramycin doesn't work as it may be viral or allergic rather than bacterial.

Meanwhile rinsing eyes with cold water and keeping good care of hygiene should be adopted.

For loose motions, probiotics may be used, alongside zinc as you are already giving him. Oral rehydration salts should be used along to reduce the water loss.

Meanwhile, OTC antipyretic like acetaminophen half TSF can be used for associated pain and discomfort. If the problem persists, pediatrician review for antibiotics may be sought.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
