Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Acid Reflux In A 64 Year Old Male

I am 64, do not smoke or drink, no stomach pain, etc., got up from bed yesterday morning and as soon as I stood up I had diarrhea. Same thing this morning. As soon as I stood up from bed I soiled my underwear. Never had this happen before. No blood in stools, I do have gallstones and acid reflux, but no pains of any kind. What to do besides wearing a diaper to bed???

Hello
I appreciate your concern
Looking at your description it might be related to incontinence, gut infection or food allergy.

If I were your treating doctor I would have advised you for stool test for ova, cyst or protozoa and accordingly a course of antibiotics.

Yuu shoud take Probiotics, Curd, yogurt and banana as a home remedy.

If it doesn't improve then you must visit a gastroenterologist for a clonoscopy and further evaluation

Hope this answers your question
please feel free to ask for more clarification, I will gladly answer you
Best wishes
