Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea After Hysterectomy Procedure
Hi I had hysterectomy on 12 nov and each day they gave me lactose as they said I needed to move my bowels. Finally on Wednesday 16th my bowels opened with whitish small balls. Since then though everything I eat comes out in diarrhoea. I have not used lactose since wed in hospital. Is this normal? Thanks

It is normal with lactulose.
Just decrease the dosage of lactulose as constipation is to be avoided for a week or so for pain relief.
