Suggest Treatment For Diabetes And Severe Itching All Over The Body

Hi, my wife has been suffering from blood sugar since 2011 when the she was last pregnant, she was taking insulin and after issuing baby she has been taking medicine continue but now that HBA1C is 8-9 which is not good as i think , kindly advise what should do to control, she has itching too much in her body. As you said, the HbA1c is high. In controlled diabetics the value is less than 7%.

A value of 8 to 9 implies that the diabetes is not presently in control.

She may need to alter either her lifestyle or insulin or both.
Lifestyle changes would include a change in diet and increase in activity.

Diet changes would include more fruits and vegetables, no sodas or high sugar fruit drinks, a lot of water, reduced carbs (may need to adjust insulin).

With regard to activity, it is advised that a person should have at least 150 mins of exercise weekly.

Her insulin may also need to be adjusted.

She should speak to her doctor about these changes.
