Suggest Treatment For Depression And Worsening Black Outs

my name is amber myers. I have memory problems since i was 9years old, as i got older it got worse. my family never took me to see a doctor about. I am 19years old almost 20years old, i am on meds for mental thing like depression but i started those meds 3years ago, so depression has nothing to do with this. About 3 months now it been getting even more worse that a friend of mine did my hair when i asked her to, and the next morning i did not remember her doing it. I actually was freaking out before she told me i asked her to do it. Can you please tell me why this is happening to me?

Hello,

There are a lot of medical problems that can cause problem with your memory, memory loss or other dementia-like symptoms. Most of these conditions can be treated. This is the most important think in your case ,considering your very young age. For this reason, it is very important to find the root cause of your symptom. Possible causes of reversible memory loss include head trauma or injury emotional disorders, stress, anxiety, depression, hypothyroidism, vitamin B deficiency or alcohol abuse.

You should know that there are specific tests that determine the degree of memory impairment and diagnose the cause. My advice for you is to consult physically your local physician because it is necessary to do some blood tests and screening test to check you for conditions that cause reversible memory impairment. Also, I suggest to do a lot of brain exercises to improve memory, focus and improve your mental skills.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
