Suggest Treatment For Delayed Periods

hi. my period cycle has been normal - always comes on time and if there s any delay it will only be 2-3 days. but this month my period has delayed for a week. I want to know if coffee / energy drinks (redbull & livita) is causing my period to delay. I have never drank any energy drink till earlier this month and now I m worried if it s affecting my period cycle.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Yes energy drink contain caffeine that cause hormonal imbalance in sensitive individual.
I suggest to wait for period for 2-3 days.
If It will not come then consult the gynecologist and undergo proper examination and reproductive hormone analysis.
Period can be induced by the progesterone pill for 3-5 days and once you stop the pill period will come in next 2-3 days.
Avoid stress, do regular exercise and eat healthy diet
Hope this may help you
