Hi
greetings.
From the question I feel that the cyst was a simple follicular cyst and that is why it responded to oc pills.I also presume that her cycles where regular before starting pills..
Now has she taken pills continuously for 3 months or 21 days and 7 days break for the bleeding ?
If continuous means she can wait for few days .If not she should either repeat the scan to assess the ovarian function and endometrial thickness. or do a hormonal analysis including thyroid function.
It could be due to some hormonal imbalances. she can consult a gynaecologist.
Hope you are convinced. Regards
