General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It's important to follow up with your doctor and ask for more information about the results of the scope and any other tests that were performed. Treatment for cramps and back pain will depend on the underlying cause. If your colitis is still active, your doctor may recommend medication such as anti-inflammatory drugs or antibiotics.

They may also suggest dietary changes, such as avoiding certain foods that trigger symptoms or increasing fiber intake. For back pain, physical therapy, heat or ice therapy, and over-the-counter pain medications can be helpful. However, it's important to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan from your doctor before attempting any home remedies.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
