Suggest Treatment For Cough And Lung Infection

My mother is surviving with 1 lung for past twenty years, and now the infected lung has accumulated mucus(due to cold). Because of this she has breathing problems. She is underweight and very weak to be operated. Now she is in critical condition. She requires additional oxygen than required for her survival. If she gets coughs her condition becomes worse. Please do suggest me, what i have to do. I live in chennai.

- Prefer to keep her in semi reclining position till possible .
- Avoid her exposure to weather with dust , pollen .
