Suggest Treatment For Cough And Fever In A Child

Sir,
my child has cough and fever. he recovered from fever but cough not stopping . but not severe cough but not completely recovered.levolin syrup using three times a day.he has 5 and half year old.shall we need further treatment .one week is overed.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....

As per your complain it seems that your son is recovering cold and cough and as the cough is mild you can continue levolin syrup..
You can also give him couugh syrup containing Dextromethorphan but only after consulting a Paediatrician..
Doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and warm compresses over chest can help..
