Hi I ve got cotton wool stuck deep into my ear for over two years been to ent and nurse had a look said she could see something white deep down but said it was not cotton wool which I know it is as its affected my hearing how can I get them to listen to me

Hello, welcome to HCM. Please dont try yourself to remove it because there is delicate tissue behind it called ear drum which will get ruptured if you touch it with sharp objects. Definetly this object is coming in way of your proper hearing. The object what you are saying can be removed by various procedures. Please take an appointment with the ENT specialist who can remove this very easily.
