corneal opacity is to be diagnosed whether is active or not. have to stain it to confirm that, if it is active then can be treated as corneal ulcer. generally new born baby can have gonococal infection drug of choice is penicillin. eye drop is to be prepared by diluting benzyl e penicillin one in hundred dilution.
