Suggest Treatment For Corn In Feet

Sir I have got 2 corn in my left feet when I consult with doctor dey said nothing to worry used corn cap I used it from past 8 days now I seen dat dat area skin become while n still the area is very hard to touch n light pain is also Der so should I go for surgery or again I use corncap

Hello,

I understand your concern for the corns on feet.

Corn is a layman term which is medically known as callosity and it is most often confused with planter viral infection known as planter warts.

It is better if you consult a dermatologist to get proper diagnosis as corn tapes are never a good solution for either corns or callosities and planter warts.

In my patients I suggest them to go for paring of the extra dead tissue and the application of either trichloro acetic acid or phenol to cauterize the extra dead tissue.
