I have had alot of pain in my left leg. Been going on now for about a year. It starts in ghe heel area and travels up my leg. It has not been a daily thing until recently. When i first get up from sitting it takes 5 to 6 steps very painful steps hobbling. Then i can walk normal. Not pain free. But i can walk with a mild pain
Your symptoms could be suggestive of sciatic nerve compression, probably related to a bulging disc in the lumbar vertebral column. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and performing a lumbar spine CT scan or MRI.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
