Suggest Treatment For Constant Itching And Crawling Feeling Under Skin

Hi there, I have been dealing with the sensation of something crawling on my skin for the last few years. It often makes my legs, arms or other appendages twitch, and gives me the uncontrollable urge to itch the area affected. It can happen almost anywhere on my body, but most commonly my neck, thighs, torso and scalp. My forearms are also a common area of affliction.

Hello dear and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There are many medical conditions that can cause itching.

It might be a food allergy.

I would recommend you to use antihistamines daily to relieve the itching.

I would also recommend you to do a complete blood level and tests for liver function.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
