Suggest Treatment For Cold, Cough And Sore Throat

I had a cold about 3 weeks ago. I had a runny nose and a sore throat. Then it turned into a cough. I have had this cough for 2 weeks now and when I cough it hurts my head. I cough almost constantly and I can feel a liquid in my throat. What is wrong with me?

hi
looks like you are suffering from a lower respiratory tract infection, after the first episode of upper respiratory tract infection.
you are right now having a cough headache syndrome.
i suggest you to visit an ENT specialist, to get an ENT check up.
if the cough is so persistent, please start with a dose of antibiotics,decongestants,anti-histaminics,check x-ray chest to rule out any chest infection.
all the best, take care

Hello
You are having cough for last 3 weeks with running nose and sore throat , may be due to these possibilities , these include:
1 Allergic or non-allergic bronchitis , as you mentioned that you feel liquid in the throat ,so this may be mucus .
2 Asthmatic allergic bronchitis .
3 Tuberculosis .
However, there are other so many reasons ,like bronchiectasis ,sinusitis etc.
Without physical examination , clinical examination it is very difficult to establish any diagnosis . Since these symptoms are for 3 weeks ,so consult a physician and get his opinion .
Good luck.
