General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to respiratory infection. You may need antibiotic therapy and mucolytics. Better to get examined by a physician. I would suggest broad spectrum antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav and mucolytics like dextromethorphan and antihistamines like cetrizine in such case. Take warm fluids like tea with lemon and honey, warm chicken soup with pepper etc. Taking chewable vitamin C is also good. Taking proper rest is also advised.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
