Suggest Treatment For Cold And Chest Congestion

Hi , may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have been a cold over a month ago and now i still have chest congestion? is that normal ?
I took cold medicine for congestion but it just doesn't go away, what should i do????

Yeah it can happen. It can be either new infection or reactivation of previous infection not properly treated. I would suggest to go for chest x ray this time and have antibiotics if fever along with it. Do blood counts if it suggestive of viral infection rule out any allergy or not. Have treatment accordingly.
