ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, when the atmospheric pressure varies suddenly causes Eustachian tube block thereby air trapping in the middle ear. This causes clogging sensation, Echoing , Feeling of fluid in ear. This condition happens to the people who are suffering active cold, Deviated nasal septum, nasal blockades. Mucolytics, antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs are useful along with steam inhalation. If it fails Tymphanostomy vent can be tried. Meet your ENt dr.Take care
